Steven L. McKenzie is professor of Hebrew Bible and Old Testament at Rhodes College. He is a co-leader of the Middle East Travel Seminar, which tours Syria, Jordan, the Sinai, Israel, and Greece each spring. He has written and edited many books, including King David: A Biography and How to Read the Bible, and The Uncensored Bible, co-written with John Kaltner, and Joel Kilpatrick. He lives in Memphis, Tennessee.
